The new ASM3142 doesn’t just deliver the fastest USB 3.1 performance. It also reduces the power consumption by as much as 50%. When compared with a Gen3 x1 connected controller, the AS3142 is able to deliver double the performance.

  • Independent Power Distribution Switch on each port to provide overcurrent, power glitches, and thermal shutdown protection
  • No driver installation is required on MacOS 10.9 to 10.10, and 10.12 and later (NOTE: MacOS 10.11 in-box driver doesn't support ASMedia USB 3.1), Win10/8, Server 2012 and later; Linux 2.6.31 and later. Driver download is available for 32/64 bit Windows 7/Vista, and Windows Server 2008/2003
